The Value of Design
In 2018, after many years of small design changes, that could be detected through the entire Ondarreta collection, but also in the photography style as well as the catalogues, Nora and Nadia decided to take the biggest step yet. The whole redesign and transformation of the company’s brand image.
This decision was a clear statement to implement the “Total Design” concept, to create the brand’s own language, and being able to apply it to any concept related to communication. The idea was to create an initial approach that analyses and redesigns, with a high level of demand, all the communication elements that are influential in the perception of the brands in the market.
In 2019, the new brand image was launched, under the art direction of the Pensando en blanco studio. A strategic direction with the sole objective of expanding and sharing the value of the brand’s daily work through content with a unique identity. All of this effort has been rewarded with 6 ADG LAUS AWARDS 2020, which award the best international projects in the field of design and communication. Each of the award winning categories reflect the brand’s global vision and commitment to continue expanding the implementation of design as one of the fundamental axes in the brand’s evolution.
On the other hand. two of our products – Alo Outdoor chair, in the outdoor equipment category, and Silu chair in the Indoors Equipment one – have been awarded with Bronze at the Delta Awards 2020.
