ONDARRETA : HOME OFFICE
(2/3)
During lockdown, the workplace became a shelter, a place to socialize, to adapt, to gather, to collaborate; a place for action and solidarity, but also a place to rediscover our creative self, one’s own self, which is born from empathy and enables us to identify issues and look for solutions. Paradoxically, now that digital transformation is at a point of no return, people skills are gaining more prominence than any other.
The age of permanent desktops is over. We have a fabulous opportunity to redefine the non-places and the way in which we want to work. Work, the specific space, the physical space from which we project ourselves – the office, a coffee shop or our home – can finally be a place to which we can infuse our personality. A realm for realization and personal enrichment; a broadcasting station where we can tune our wellbeing frequency. More than ever before, we now appreciate kind and stimulating environments: spaces that are part of us and make us feel good, the realms, which remind us that we do have a personal purpose, that after all, the life one lives does make sense.
