Some homes cannot be understood through a single image. They reveal themselves gradually, through the light that enters, the texture of a wall, the hushed sounds of a room, the temperature of materials and the objects that accompany each everyday gesture. PEN HOUSE embodies this way of living. Set on the slopes of Jaizkibel, the house is shaped by a deep connection with its surroundings and with matter. Hemp, lime, alabaster plaster, wood, stone, stainless steel and natural light create a serene atmosphere, where each element serves both a physical and an emotional purpose. The materials regulate, protect, age and coexist over time. In this setting, Ondarreta’s Mibu and Tam Inox collections find a natural home.
